You should have heard it, I sounded like motorbike skating yesterday. I really need some new wheels, even more now.
so the bearings are completely fucked now? how long they last you in totall? or are we talking flatspots?
anyway this may be my last post for the day as i have to go pick my mate up soon....
I pegged the bearings. Two of them blew out last week - one kinda blew when I took them off for a clean, but I put the casing back on and it kinda held together. But then another one exploded after an hours skate. I hate that shit because you can't get the last bit of bearing out - so now I'm on three white wheels and one black haha. My new bones reds are working quite a treat.
I got about 3 months or maybe a touch more out of the other bearings. I dunno, maybe they're not made to have the casing popped, 'cause the metal thingo that holds the actual balls in seems...something. Not that I know what I'm talking about whwn it comes down to the technicalities of it all, but yeah...I'm not convinced that it is the best option.
yeah ive had my bones red for ages and they roll pretty fast for how old they are.....not sure how these bearings are gonna go after hearing from you.....
Like I said though, I didn't really treat them with the most respect (not that you should need to) so I don't really wanna rag on them too much...
Fucken blew a rubber on one of my trucks just doing a shitty little olly yesterday. Landed, and I felt the back truck just sink and start pulling to the side. What brand rubber is it that everyone reckons you should use on your indies? Like, there's some brand that I've heard heaps of people say to fuck off the indy rubbers and stick in this other brand?

yeah i dont know what rubbers are better in indies, i just get my trucks and just wack em on and tighten or loosen them to a resonable feel and then just leave it till i take off my trucks, so slowly as time goes on my board gets looser and looser. but its a slow gradiual change so i like it.
Yeah same, but I've noticed more and more lately that the rubbers are pretty fucked in indies. They don't seem to last a couple of days without getting at least a little split in them.

Yeah seen Browns Plains on Tent City. Looks pretty fucken sick. If we had of been able to get a rental when we were in QLD we would have gone up to check it out.

Yeah it will be. Seen some good photos from there and stuff. It looks pretty dreamy, and probably a bit scary haha I dunno I'll have to see how much my flat spots piss me off - it might not be worth going if they're too bad, and I think they might be. I saw one on sunday on one wheel that was about 3cm's.
