Yeah I do still have it Justy. Haven't done anything about getting it fixed yet. My mate came nack from Nepal and hasn't mentioned anything about strings yet, so ah...I think it's safe to assume he didn't get any...
is it that hard to get strings?
and what needs fixing on it?

Just gotta get strings, make sure I've got the right idea about how to tune it, and fix up the intonation. The main bit will getting it tuned right. I wanna find a sitar repair joint or something and get them to set it up and tune it because then I can sus out the tuning to do it myself next time. I'm pretty sure it's just a variation of an open g tuning though - mostly just c's and g's.
That reminds me - I've still gotta get that danged banjo up and running too.

Bloody hell I gotta fix my drum kit up again too. We had a loaner at home for a while, but they wanted it back, so I'll have to fix up my piece of crap kit so's we can get jamming again. Hopefully we've got this bass player who's apparently keen so hopefully be sussing out doing some more gigs in the next couple of months.
rad what kinda music will you boys be playing.....i reakon you should fix up that sitar and get a rock band with a sitar going
Probably just "rock". Kinda depends on the bass player - hopefully he's good enough to...well, lets just say hopefully he's good enough. I wanna start throwing around a few odd time signatures and stuff - we couldn't really do that with the old line up. At least, not without expecting it to take a loooong time to get it sounding tight.
Yeah if I get it set up I'll definitely consider using it for something or other in the band.

on another note, just got called by this company that i had job interview with yesterday. i just gotta go in on friday and do this thing for 25 minutes and if that all works out then ill have a fulltime job. and come wednesday next week ill no longer be on the forums as much....well a whole lot less. only at nights and before i go to work

i was getting so use to being a bum it was fun. just chill out all day, smoke it when you got it, play guitar, watch movies, listen to music, go on the internet, go skating. go eating. its fun

Yeah I full bummed it for about six months about 3 years ago. Kinda got a bit old after a while. It's good, but yeah it did get boring - can't really do alot if you've gotta watch your pennies.

I find im not much of a sunnies person. Not much of a shorts person either.
Yeah I always have trouble choosing sunnies, but once I've got a pair I'll wear them. The last pair I bought I just kinda grabbed anything because I was on the way to a funeral. I often wear shorts - it's way too hot to skate in jeans most of the time.
I had a hamburger for lunch. It had mayonaise on it. It was different, but it was ok.

I brought in cold burgers and cold fried eggs fo lunch. Whacked em in the micro wave and then voila... good lunch. Lately i have found my self in shorts more often than usual due to the extreme heat.
