Ah not much...nothing new anyway. Fuck I might have to plug my guitar in for a bash tonight - I haven't played it for about a week and a half now, and I've only had it for about 2 and a half weeks. I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that I might have to get my drum kit going again - don't really wanna have to fork out the cash for it, but bands are well...I might just start laying down some shit on my own I think. Got a mate who's not bad on the bass and is keen to get something happening, but he's going to be away for the second half of the year, so yeah...might just have to start doing some shit so my guitar doesn't just spend the rest of the year sitting around gathering dust.
One of my mates is all like "oh man if I had that guitar and I could play like that I'd never put it down..." but fuck the hype dies down a bit once you start approaching 20 years of playing the thing eh haha

Serious? I swear guitar is the easiest instrument to be mediocre at. (Some might say bass is easier, but in my opinion bass is just easier to get away with being shit on as you can get away with being more of a background sound.) Keyboards and shit are so much harder to get the basics covered on - unless you wanna play everything all in the same key. All the scales and shit are all over the place, but guitar you just use one basic shape and move it up and down the neck.
Of course it's a different story if you wanna be some sick **** jazz guitarist or some shit.
