Dammit we had a jam last night and well, the jam was fun, but the sitar was sitting on top of the bass speaker, and I guess from the vibrations of the speaker...the sitar fell and the neck snapped off. Haven't checked if it's fixable yet, but at least I didn't blow my money on strings yet huh.

Yeah I know man, but for the last little while I've been getting the drum kit together so I can actually record songs - still gotta spend another couple hundred or so on that. Plus with all the trouble I've had with my hand over the last six months there's been alot of time where I couldn't play anything anyway, so the motivation to get it strung up and all that has been pretty low. I hope I can fix it.
