I would have to say that I really love Cowes.
It was built by me a my mates many years ago and I still love it to this day.
Yeah it's not perfect, it has its faults but I love everything about it :-)

After losing the likes of Damian Kane (Recruited by Melbourne), Luke Bailey (M&Ms; Marijuana & Maribyrnong) and recently Matthew Niven (St Kilda East) the future of the P.I skateboarding scene was looking bleak.
The past 2 years a resurgence of surfing skateboarders has pushed for a new era of shreddors.
Billy Smith; a young hopefully that has been skating for Xamount of years he's special moves include inward heels as well as boardslide 270s both frontside and backside.
Some kid of name I can not remember can air on the shed vert and a long with Nick Langford they are holding it down for the transition side of things.
Now a recent return to the squad, Cooper Dimos returning from a brief stint in Melbourne he has settled back to the line up with some new solid tricks and a solid woman. It looks like he has signed a contract and will push the growth of skateboarding on Phillp Island with his super dooper shuvits mixed with some Melbourne knowledge.
Along with those crafty fellows there is probably more kids that push not only poor buds but poor mongo as well.
They are looking like a promising squad for the 2012 Olypics.

Glad to hear some kids are still shredding down there.
I try to get down there as much as I can to skate, which is only about once every month.
