I went to a party for the opening of a rehearsal studio on saturday and they band gear set up in one of the rooms so I had a little jam on the bass with some random on guitar and another on drums. We finished one little section and I asked the guitarist what key he wanted to jam in next, but before he answered someone yelled out "BASS SOLO!" So I slapped up a storm until there was blood on the bass, then fucked off outside for a durry haha.

Yeah...nah...I don't care, kinda indefferent to it.
This older fellow came over to me afterwards and goes "that was some good funkin' up there" and went on to tell me about how he used to tour and all this junk so I had a bit of a chat to him. A little later on I walked past the jam room and hear Bryan Fucken Adams so I stuck my head in and it was him hahaha. I didn't really talk to him after that. I mean, who the fuck wants to hear that shit?

I kinda didn't want to play at the time because my mate who is just learning had been playing bass and he's the kind that gets cut when he gets burned. He got up and sung a little bit while I was playing, and threw in the occassional "fuck you fox ya ****" so I gave him my guitar to go jam in the dj room where a couple of our mates were working the decks haha he was getting his rock on!

Yeah, gonna get onto some mixing this week. There's at least a couple of songs finished. Woulda done some on the weekend but this flu is fucking with my ears - they keep going blocked and unblocked and I can't quite hear the best.

flu is the worst! i had a little case of it the other week, i just ate heaps of barley sugars, for some reason i think they help, they give ya energy n shit, that ear blockage stuff is the worst.

how many songs are gettin put onto it?

We've got about 10-11 that we've recorded I think but we'll probably just put maybe 3 on the demo to use to hook gigs. We'll make a copy with all of them on there as well just for our own reference and for friends or whatever.
