why take photos of flatland tricks unless they are insanly huge?
and i think Moey said before that its a max of 3 photos at one time

thanks for the lighting comments.

in terms of the lens... i know 100% i will never use a wide lens wider than the equivalent of 28mm without it being fisheye. (both shots you see are no wider than equivalent of 27mm)

I think the distortion in the second picture isn't too bad (the one with teh filmer lurking) but i agree the perspective in the harrington 15 shot isnt good.
(the wall looks sloped because of ME though not because of the distortion)

...I would have to disagree with you in saying anything below 50mm should be fisheye.

i dont mean anything below 50mm is a fisheye if thats what you mean?

but anything less then 50mm other then fisheye just looks wierd.
sometime it works well, but for stuff like stairs it just looks whack.

way too many photos james, you should have just made a thread or emailed them to your friend
anyway just a tip when shooting photos like that - find either a super interesting background or a super plain background
the skater is getting lost in the trees

royal melbourne instute of tafe isnt it?

but yeah i rock a D50, not much longer though.

so i can push flashes to 1/1800th with the pocket wizards.

i have 3 flashes, gennerally 2 on the front and the other as rim or fill. oh and i generally try to shoot early mornig or late arvo when the sun isnt as strong.
