Here's some more I shot lately - Jamey feebling this thing, the run up and landing are both fucked
Rob Pace feeble - these are like his boardslide, the go-to trick. First go every go
Lastly, filmer Brendan Gardoll doing this 50 pop out
I've never really shot with flash off camera before so I had fun experimenting last night. Any pointers/constructive criticism is definitely welcome.

Hey Gnar Gnar, first off definitley not bad for your first time doing off camera lighting work. Couple pointers (which are purely my own opinion and not coming from any classical training). Try and either lower the flash power or move the flash further away and up your iso or lower your shutter to expose the ground and relevant surrounding details. Dont worry a slow shutter at night will still freeze motion because the flash pulse is that quick. Second don't be afraid to get weird with your composition, forget what you frequently see on the glossy pages, lie on the ground, climb a tree, chuck them up in the top 5th, whatever just get weird.
Cheers for the pointers Cameron. Think I was shooting on around 200 iso, kind of liked the darkness but I guess that's only really because it seems like a novelty after so long shooting in camera flash. As far as composition goes, they're all pretty stock standard, this was of a test of my slave than anything else so wasn't getting too creative. Thanks again, Owen
Only just saw your comment now walker, the front blunt wasn't a planned shot, I got tired from skating and the fisheye was already one so I shot with what I had, given a little more planning I probably would of switched lenses.
Cheers for the feedback
Yeah that's rad, shooting a ton of photos is probably the best thing you can do! Little update from the weekend - Corey Young, crooks
I seldom shoot vertical but was kind of forced into it there. I should do it more often probably.

Not really a fan of that one ^
Billy again, switch heelflip
k grind is sick walker i like the tilt at the same angle as the trick
Your colour grading has been real nice and unique lately Riely, really like Corey's crooks and Brendan's 5050.
oh new page, may as well post something up then.
Dyl Monk, my mid-week guinea pig riding the highway to hell while you were sleeping.
That photo is tight Cameron!
Any feedback on this photo will definantly be appreciated.
That's pretty nice imagine, maybe put a vingette on it in Lightroom, it would help darken up the road at the bottom and bring more attention to the powerslide
