kristian, as much as i think you're annoying those are really good photos. nice work.
jake bs blunt-no make as it was pretty much pitch black.
ps. first real photo ive taken in so long
wow
thats amazing, i dont dig the shadows everywhere though
flip frnt tail biggie out for the people
I'll post a few!
First up is oliver back smith.
bombing brunswick street.
Decided to try panning...
Likeing the photo there kristan
ollie is fresh as kristian, bit of flash glare though.
i reckon panning left would have made this feel a little better compositionally, it's a little unbalanced.
you're lighting is on tack (as always) although your rim didn't really work out. i reckon ditching it, and getting more powerful lighting on the front could be a better idea. he already pops loads with his purple shirt, doesn't need a rim.
good angle, a little cliche at this spot though, fenning and bibby have shot from up there too. i admit that this place is awesome for overhead shots, but trying something different wouldn't hurt.
still solid as kristian, good work.
bibby shot from below.
and fuck bibby
Joe reading your critiques always annoy me.
There is nothing "unbalanced" about that photo
panning left would be more dead space and take away from the photo
yeah thanks heaps guyzez, and i did shoot a different angle to bibby. You need to show he's ollieing up and then over anyway

uh-ok.
you actually got me there, a typo. i meant pan right, so there is more of the set. and to me, the photograph is unbalanced. the right 2/3rds of the frame are filled with solids, or subjects. theres the set and the skater, the main points of the photograph. then theres just dead space for the left third of it, making it feel weird. if kristian panned right and got back a little bit, it would feel more balanced, get rid of the flash glare and still obey the rule of thirds.
maybe you don't see it, but it bothers me to death. the left 2/3rds is heavy, and the right third is light.
and, yeah, to me, there is something unbalanced about that photo.
and above^^^
hahahah
and yeah panning left mean, MORE UNBALANCED THEN IT ALREADY IS. i dont like the pole in his pooper(edit just scrolled up, ment knee.
...i said that it was a typo and i meant pan right.
