you can just set up a flickr page upload the photo then save it off that the size comes out pristine when you post it.

Damn - don't let your shadow be in your photos.
Maybe invest in some flashes to light up the skater.
Move yourself so you can see what the skater is actually doing. Aka that gap (I assume its a gap), can't really see how wide it is.

not that much shop andre, it was overexposed in the camera so I balanced it out in raw editor, desaturated it a bit because of the red pole in the background, cropped, resized and sharpened. I shot the same thing not overexposed and didn't like it as much, just a lucky fluke.
