Pitty about the pole behind the skater on the hurricane, I'd have gotten a bit lower as well but other than that fucking solid.
yeah nate there all dope! dont know if you could've squeezed him in between the pole and rail thing on the hurricane, either way looks rad. pole jam especially looks good.
for that 50 in the forest photo, im kinda getting lost. took me at bit to see what he was doing, more i look at it the more i like it though. i dont know, i tihnk the skaters lit enough but everything else is kinda under...basically what nate said. would be cool to see it in colour.
Tim Bs smith, with lurking legs.
Its aiight, pretty hard to skate though cause its on a heaps busy road so the run up is pretty bad.
holy shit at first i thought there was a massive drop where the driveway is and he was 50ing to pop over the other side haha, flick is rad once again max!
nate thats the first time i have seen that spot look amazing (listers pole jam)
I whole heartedly agree with drew.
Looks a bit flat to me but I like the comp.
nate you are killing it
plus the 50-50 road barrier and 180 sw 5-0 are awesome too
Bridge Rail, Pole Jam, Hurricane and 180 Nosegrizzle are all sick.
and that barrier spot looks gnarly max
Just starting out, Only managed to get a decent camera a few months back. Any feedback would be good!
First shot - Beacho, Crooks on a rusty, concreate covered ledge
Second - Blunt Pop Out
first one shouldn't have needed flash, all on camera flash does is make things look flat. have you played around with manual settings yet?
Im not sure if you intended to have him framed in that box on the first one, but either way you did a bloody good job at it haha. Would be cool if it was straighter though, maybe a tad closer and shot landscape. For the second one, try remember to clear up your backgrounds, i.e. that pole going through his body. It aint bad though, real good for someone just beginning.
And yeah, try do without the on camera flash unless its really needed. Natural light does a better job than you might think a lot of the time.
Henry, yea i usually shoot with manual settings but haven't really learned too much about the correct sesttings yet haha. Still working that out.
Walker, no i didnt did that on purpose, just got lucky haha. Yea those poles were annoying. The one through his hand bugs me the most. Got a few other angles of this tho.
Cheers for the feedback
A few boredom park shots from this afternoon...
