I took most of the stuff off my portfolio site moey as the steelcity site was taking up too much room and I have a way better job now so no portfolio site needed anymore hehe

6am New Years Day... we were still going from the night before...

this dude was scavenging aorund the park for stuff people had left from the night before watching the fireworks. Stoked from his bounty of jumpers, an umbrella & other and misc. items, he also gave my friend a bag of speed & pills he found.

Elder, there's not too many secrets really. Just build up a few adjustment layers of levels and apply a layer mask to each one so you can highlight the bits you want it to affect. I've got one selecting only the background, making it super dark, and another that brings out the high contrast & brightness on the dudes. I suppose it can give a hdr effect but I never really thought of it that way.

Just 3 lights and everyone was shot together at the same time. You have to have good lighting to start with, as you would know! No amount of photoshop can rescue a badly lit photo!

I thought I'd gone way over the top with it but it's good to see they have the intended impact.
