Yes you have to make them seperately if you care about the end product. I have worked in places where they stir through dried tarragon to a hollandaise just through lazyness.
Vinegar, tarragon (preferrably fresh and use stems too), few whole peppercorns and if you have them some shallots or spring onion = your reduction

Dude just get a food processor (blender etc) whisk your yolks and vinegar reduction till its at the stage to add butter, then put it in a food processor and turn it on slowly adding butter. Careful not too fast though. at least 3 times quicker then whisking

today my recipe is turd burgers
ingredients:
500g fresh turds
fresh corinder and mint
2 egs
breed crumbs
method:
1: chop fresh corander and mint
2: put carianer and mint into a large bowl with eggs and breedcrumbs
3: mix all ingredients together
4: musch your mix into little turd balls
%: flatten with spatula and cook in a pen
6: add to a burger with condimints of own chosing
a good tip is not to use turds you find on the side of the street. atempt to use yor own turds after a good steak dinner.
