yo lads, i have been skating vans for so long, and am really quite sick of getting heel bruises, can anybody suggest a good alternative in terms of style and board feel? with out the heel bruise factor though.

I tried them on in the shop and they are super comfy. The mid cut on them works really well. They are "apparently" a cup sole. But if it is a cup sole they have tried to make it as vulc as possible. The sole probably only has marginally less flex than a normal blazer and board feel seems similar. The grip is still good as you would expect from other nike vulcs. It's like the grip is inserted into it or something as its not the normal slippy shitty one piece cup sole that you can get.
I'd suggest going into your local and checking them out. I'd be interested to hear how they skate.
