It could just be the shoes that I've selected to order in, but I've seen fake SB's with better quality than the shit we've had come in lately...

The Herman G6 vulc actually looks pretty good, funny though, because it was originally touted for being a techy cupsole.

Maybe just the trend going (not the cupsole rebirth) but it seems to have a shoe feel good right out of the box (and not have to wear it in) means that it will only last half the time which is definitely the case with the side stripe and maybe the swoosh now too?

I know a lot of people go Nike more than Vans for that reason, but how long can they keep making shoes that sell for the same price but only last half as long before the public choose something else that will last longer?
