Summer Bowl Comp Pics...

A few days ago I got back from almost a month away skating the Bowl Comps in NSW. Ive been doing them for 10 years now and they are just as fun as ever, and the skateboarding has been crazy. Im still tired, but Im gonna post some pics. This first one is of Jed McKenzie Frontside air at the Gold Bowl.

This is Nozzletron, Noah Fuzi. Noz has been working to decrease his slam rate on this trick and now he only slams about 1 in 10. Ouch.

I got to Newcastle a few days early to Skate with Nick Kris and R.J. They are both shredding and refuse to cut there hair.

R.J likes to do Andrechts...

I was too busy watching Keegan Palmer to take pics of him. Im gonna put it out there that I think he is the best bowl skater in Australia disguised as a Smurf. It won't be long before he takes off the Smurf costume.

If you slept in the bowl chances are this is how you would see Jed do frontside airs late at night..

Murillo is one of my favourite skaters. You can't tell so much from this pic but he is very style and very speed. Also very power. I love the RTMF and Drop Dead crew from Brazil. Such a good vibe.

So many kids hit the Newcastle comp. The kids are mad for it.

I think there nothing better in skateboarding than skating on the beach in Summer. Luke Foster in the bowl.

Bryce takes a slam...

Dylan Donnini is a shredder. 9 years old. This line is pretty gnarly, 50-50 to fake over the hip... noone else did it.

Tom Schaar hours off the plane, on his first time in Oz spins a melon five.

Keegan is very well rounded. So much so, you could compare his skateboarding to a circle. Airs, grinds, inverts, flips, spins, the full package. Ten year old frontside ollie. TOUGH!

Cory Juneau is impressive. New School approach with an old school style. Frontside rock slide.

Nick Kris was shredding too. BSTS.

Seeing guys over 40 shred as hard as Luke Foster is inspirational. Rule on.
