That was great... It's a little unfortunate that a few certain people can call on 50k plus people to vote for their friends and not have it on a level field.

It's a shame that Newcastle's bowl kids/parents have made it almost impossible for others in the NSW under 15's division to get through to the next round. How does a 10 year old get 1500 + votes...

SUBMISSION PERIOD IS OVER, COME MEET THE JUDGES
We have secured 4 key figures in the Australian Skateboard community to judge the finalsof? . Trent Fahey, Anthony Mapstone, Su Young Choi and Andrew Peters, will be voting the winners from the top 3 liked videos in each division. With nearly 100 skaters all striving for the podium, it will be a tough job for the judges.
HOW DO YOU QUALIFY FOR THE TOP 3 IN YOUR DIVISION? The top 3 liked videos from each state and each division will go into the 2nd and final round of voting. Public cannot vote on the 2nd round and the 'likes' will not be taken into consideration. The judges will be critiquing the skater purely from the video clip, nothing else.
WHEN DOES PUBLIC VOTING END? Submissions closed yesterday June 30,so it’s now time to get your family and friends to vote you through to the final round. You have until midnight on July 20 to accumulate the most 'Likes'. On July 21, the top 3 liked videos from each division and each state will be viewed by the judges and the final announcement will be made on Friday July 24.
MEET THE JUDGES: Anthony Mapstone: You would be hard pressed to find anyone in Australia with more understanding of the Australian skate scene than Anthony. With over 20 years in the industry, Anthony not only has his finger on the pulse but helps pump it. A Professional skater, team manager, store and company owner, Anthony is a man of many hats. Trent Fahey: Trent has been on the board since 1989 and moved from Brisbane to the Gold Coast in 1998 where he has been ever since. Trent began his career in skateboarding, riding for companies Emerica, Kewday, Zero and Volcom. 12 years ago he began working with Slam Skate Mag and in that time, he has published 115 issues. Two and a half years ago Trent became the sole owner of Slam and continues to bring us Australia’s longest running Skate publication. Andrew Peters: Andrew is a professional photographer with over 10 years experience in his field. He is the owner and editor of Fuknoath Zine and currently works with some of the biggest names on the planet. Su Young Choi ( CHOI ) Choi is a professional filmmaker who has worked on some of the largest projects to come out of Australia, including Killself and Volcom's Lets Live. Currently living in America, Choi’s skills take him across multiple projects and companies. The judges are ready, the deadline is set, now we wait to see who makes it through to the final judging round. Good luck to all!
