Have a sick time, if you go to Ho Chi Ming city try find Saigon skateshop, there's a bunch of young locals and I saw a few yanks who skate a flat rail most days. Apparently the grass is littered with syringes..
I'd walk half a block near the skateshop and would be asked 5 times if i wanted weed, and sometimes ketamine, i wouldnt trust the latter though. I got a packet of joints for like $4, shitty weed but better than nothing

Definitely check out Saigon Skateshop. It's run by some friendly young local dudes who can show you around. The skate prodys all pretty cheap, they keep the fake stuff and the authentic separated. They also have their own Vietnamese brand boards made from element wood for $35 which are pretty sick to skate.
Pretty sick and cheap up here. Traffic is pretty crazy but there are a few good spots.
