I'd really like a break down of how 500k is spent on a skatepark. Does this include paying for land? is most of it in the physical concreting and labour? always wonder how they get to these figures.

St kilda, deer park, Knox, noble parks super bowl, Taylor's lakes. And that's off the top of my head. There's about 8 other decent bowls littered around Melbourne on top of that.

That's right there are 2 deer parks.
Am I misunderstanding the plans of does the "street" section consist of just one quarter pipe, a banked driveway, a hip, a block, a bank and 2 rails????
the street section is small. I went for a look at the site the other day. placement of a few things seems sketch. a lot of collision points, very much a hero run kinda flow to it all. not to mention if you skate the bubba and hip and kick out/poo shoot your board it's at pedestrian head height/ parked car windshields are doomed

I personally blame Renton Miller for this fuck up. Looks like I'll keep skating northcote for a good flatbar and ledge.
