On sunday 3 boys sadly passed in a car accident heading back from psyfari, one of them was my good mate Luke 'moikey' Shanahan. Luke was one of the funniest dudes you could ever meet, an absolute blast to hang out with and filled with natural talent on a skateboard. He was part of the OG Gnarlshred crew from Sydney's Northern Beaches. Heavy heartedly I am setting up this thread for anyone to share any clips, photos, memories and stories in the one place to commemorate the life of this absolute legend of a person who we've lost far too soon. May you be as ease moikey, love ya mate

So sad to be seeing this. I still remember watching the gnarlshred video for the first time, Being absolutely blown away by some of the tricks he did. My deepest condolences go out to his friends and family. Rest easy, Luke.

So so fucking tragic, im so sorry to all those that knew Luke, Ben & Lachlan. sending my positive energies out there. they all sounded like rad young blokes! Im glad they got to spend the weekend with their mates out in the bush partying and having a great time, im sure they had more fun then we can comprehend. I hope those who also attended with them will hold memory of the weekend closely once the light of the circumstances arises.

I don't really have the words to say how much of a loss this one is, I still cant grasp it myself. There are so many stories to tell about Moik, a lot of which involve his skateboarding many more still that don't. What they all have in common though, is the genuineness, honesty and generosity of spirit that Luke shared with us all, without ever really knowing it. He took every person he met at face value, with no pretense or agenda, and without exception they were better off for it. I know I was. I'll miss you mate, thank for the good times.

Solid set of tricks to open the friends section of the Gnarlshred Movie. Anything with a shuve-it, moik could do it
