Hey all, I'm in my 30s and currently teaching myself how to skateboard. I'm terrible but still willing to learn. I've longboarded in the past so pushing and rolling around isn't too bad but when it comes to kick turns and anything beyond that, I'm likely to fall on my arse. Are there any other older guys/girls/whatevers here in the same boat? In need of solidarity.
Also, skating alone sucks when you're learning so if anybody in the Box Hill area is willing to catch up with a 30 something beginner at the Box Hill skate park, that'd be awesome. Lessons would be good too if anybody is willing.
