VX Repairs?

Bought a 'working' jap vx off some sus cunt on here named Jack Lydon about 3 months ago. After not sending the camera for about 6 weeks he finally sent it (without the battery he promised) and the tape deck won't open, he's claiming that I broke it and I'm trying to rip him off blah blah and he won't send my money back.

Does anyone know anywhere in Aus that fixes things like this? I know I have Kerry at VE in the states, but I'm just seeing if there's anything local before I get a quote from him.

I'm located near Sydney.

Tinbum might be able to fix it, he does some VX surgeries.
