On Saturday 25th of June 2016 the rains dried and the sun came out. Riverslide skatepark was glistening after a weeks worth of crapy wet cold weather. But the bad weather couldn’t keep the kids away. The day was a blast, free food, tons of giveaways and prizes for those who skated. Skaters that stepped up were rewarded with Cash, boards, Trucks and more for tricks.
A massive thanks to Ryan and his team at Riverslide Skatepark, Ryan came out of long service leave to work with me on this event and spent his own personal time to make it happen, his gift to skateboarding and the kids.
