Creamy California

I've been in California for a few days - so why not make a little blog to share some of the shenanigans going down in the middle of the Cali summer?
Just before the trip I upgraded to a new phone so I thought I'd better have a crack at making my first phone clip ever for the viewers back at home. Hopefully it came out ok... Enjoy!

I'd seen this spot in the DTLA Arts District on different trips before and had been hanging to skate it. It was too good to be true and we lasted around two minutes before getting kicked out. The security guard said he used to skate and told us of a local park near by with a "gnarly big 3 block". Sounds great for my 40 year old knees haha

Not the best park to warm at after a 15 hour flight, with very little sleep and you don't feel like ollieing much.

So damn hot here! Almost died of heat stroke. Luckily there's lots of street vendors around delivering ice creams in the nick of time!

Some of you may know of the god father of switch skateboarding Salman Agah has a damn fine pizza store serving up some of the best New York style pizza on the left coast. No trips complete without a visit here

It's luck of the draw when it comes to street eats. It's super cheap and can quite easily be the best thing you've ever had or the biggest regret you've ever made..,

Just spent a couple of days cruising around San Diego county which has been fun. Although we ended up staying in a pretty rough part of town without realising. The skate parks down that way are pretty awesome and easily make up for any uneasy moments in the streets.

Down town coppas aren't expecting any high speed chases it seems.

Found a great spot at a shopping mall but unfortunately got the boot too soon.

Pumpkin ain't easy

Quite a few things have gone down on this now. Pretty much the craziest rail I've seen..

Was surprised to find one of my bucket list spots the "Perfect Ditch" not so perfect after all and harder to skate then it looked.
