Meakin Park Logan QLD new pump track

A new pump track in Meakin Park, off Meakin Road, Slacks Creek, Logan QLD is open, as per article in the Our Logan Magazine September 2018 issue.

I couldn't find an exact location so hopefully heading out that way to check it out and get some pics.

At least it looks like it is in shade, as per video of the local Councillor riding a bike on it, maybe not as big as the Browns Plains one, but we shall see.

I found it easily enough, directly off Meakin Road (if you put 162 Meakin Road Slacks Creek into the GPS it will take you right there) and had a bit of a roll.

Smaller than Browns Plains, much more mellow in the ends, but a lot more humps closer together through the middle and a more simple layout, one side being just straight along, while the other has at one point a cross over with the middle line.

Pretty cool either way, a lot of shade except right in the middle of the day and not much else around.
