OP
Meadowlands Bowl Carindale Brisbane fixed I can't find the previous thread, but Meadowlands Bowl at Carindale, Brisbane has now been fixed and open for a while now, but I only had a skate on it yesterday, so new pic, etc.

Old Meadowlands bowl got a makeover earlier on this year, which turned out more like an episode of the show Plastic Surgery Disasters, but it seems Council heard how unhappy skaters were so they got rid of those guys, ripped it up and had some rad dudes (and skaters too, I heard) rebuild the transitions and now it rides pretty well. I am kind of happy that once again it is not as simple and easy as some bowls and ramps. The four faces are all a bit different, which keeps you on your toes.

Coping is set well and everything works once you get used to it. You can even roll down and up the end drain part, which was impossible previously too.

From so much fun in the 90s, now the skaters of today can enjoy a good little bowl that should last another twenty years or so.

Meadowlands Park, off Meadowlands Road Carindale, beside the dog park, kids playground, etc right where the car park is if you can't see it or don't know where to look.
