A question from someone else, you've heard enough from me.
RRampTramp.22 Mar 2010
Which company made the first blockhead style skateboard? And what made them so light?
DDavo 215322 Mar 2010
Blockhead?
AAHA22 Mar 2010
Not sure what you mean by Blockhead skateboard. (insert Pauline Hanson quote here).

But my guess would be Uncle Wiggley with some type of epoxy/foam construction.
LLeedog22 Mar 2010
Sims - epoxy?
RRampTramp.23 Mar 2010
Aha's on the money, it was a specfic thing that made them light besides being thin.. a fiber..... (insert second word here)
AAHA23 Mar 2010
Glass?

A lot of company's were using this mid 80's, maybe even Blockhead.

A foam core would make it lighter. Not sure

Please don't say 'Boneite'
PPervert Olympics23 Mar 2010
Haro, hehe
RRampTramp.23 Mar 2010
No, its something common these days for a lot of ID's to be in.

Wow, once again I don't check on this thread for a while and it gets incredibly obscure and slightly confusing. Loved the BBC related questions.

Got a good one for today, not a 100% on the answer but have a decent idea...

Which company has run the most consecutive pages of advertisements in a magazine? I'm talking left and right pages, not just consecutive right or consecutive left pages.
Kkrang23 Mar 2010
im pretty sure nike has had some 4 pages in a row ads. but that seems too recent. more than 4 pages seems over the top tho.
Bbeerspit23 Mar 2010
i remember maybe the plan b revival doing about 10, maybe?
YYahbrain23 Mar 2010
Yeah I was trying to remember how many Plan B ran. I know expedition did a bunch of consecutive right pages when they launched, but the one I had in mind was A team doing 6 pages (ie 3 consecutive double pages) when they launched. Marc Johnson with a full head of hair featured heavily.
