Leedog...killing it.
Seq?
LLeedog25 May 2010
I have no idea on the sequence. I'll hazard a guess that it was some kind of pressure flip/combo.

Too easy! In the 80's, we used put 'grip' on the bottom of our decks for grip doing grabs.

Santa Cruz had Rip Grip.

Alva skateboards had their own version.

What company produced it?

Who founded the company?

And what did his son contribute to skateboarding?
DDavo 215330 May 2010
shit...those ugly bats and shit...what was it called????
LLeedog30 May 2010
It was a really ground breaking name...
Alva Finger Grip - made by Astrodeck, which started out producing deck pads for surfboards. Herbie Fletcher started the company.

Not sure what either Christian or Nathan Fletcher have contributed TO skateboarding, more so what Christian took from his skating applied it to surfing... boosting airs.

Yup Davo, and die cut Trucker girls...

Well done Leedog. And yup Christian was a pioneer of 'aerial surf' maneuvers based on skateboarding tricks. Contribution? maybe a new found respect for skateboarders from the surfing community.

Ok on a similar theme. What was a 'slug' and what company produced it? (That last question wasn't obscure enough).

Nice one Chris. I saw Simon Woodstock did the write up on Cardiel. Simon had a Sonic ad with the slogan 'on target', what was the trick and what type of board was he riding?
Ffair dinkum3 June 2010
kick flip on an archery target
Bbeerspit3 June 2010
ollie blunt. dart board.?
AAHA3 June 2010
I think it was an ollie to fakie out of a ditch or a bowl, with an arrow being shot into the archery target come skateboard.

There's got to be another Woodstock question in this, anyone?
