Carindale Bowl

Old 80s 2 ft high small concrete bowl, 4 sided with a drain area in one corner. The transitions are quite tight and the lip is not rounded like many other Brisbane bowls from the same era, allowing grinds, slides and other lip tricks when you have your wax with you.

medowlands bowl! good times for an arvo session, DO NOT VENTURE IN THIS PARK AT NIGHT!(as there are stories of a homosexual toilet after dark) apart from that, a no coping bowl, mellow 1ft quarters and a lot of graff. 1 star
Possibly the best generic bowl in Brisbane (and there are plenty of crap 3 sided ones to choose from). You can actually get a line in this bowl and can even carve and get speed. Try ollieing the "Gap of Doom". Its fun for the whole family.

From the early 90s, this was the only small bowl you could grind, slide and session like it was a bigger bowl. Tight areas and mellow areas made for a bit of a difference which are still there today, only with a little less lip and a lot less wax than when we used to ride it as kids going on teenagers. It is still a bit of fun for a mellow roll, even though it has had a dose of burning in the flat and other disasters along the way.
