Kincumber Skate Park

Its only small ie. an L-shape of about 20m by 15m. About 20m by 8m is a street area with 850mm ramps at one end and 1200 roll-ins at the other. Two low 300mm high ledges at each side with a 300mm high rail in the middle. At the side is a 1500mm high mini-ramp on a 6m by 6m pad. Mostly prefab ramps so the surface seems great, this is important around here after the new section of Umina which has a poor surface. Thanks Barry for the pics.

Opened 2002, this is a Paul Carey designed park. Composed of Pre-fab modules, it has a 4' mini ramp and a split level street area with flat rail and ledges on either side and a bank top and bottom. Gosford rail station is closest with buses running to Kincumber. Good practice park but thats about it!
this park is good for tryin moves down the rail until ur confident to move to bigger rails or jus for a mad game of skate. its all bak and forward traffic but rails and ledges can be hit from both ends. terrigal is just down the road which has food and other stuff.

Good for a lil park...I went there once on holz it was fun i didnt get bored and i was there for a couple hours!...and yeh i seen it on saturday disney aswell:)
Now this park has been painted by a graffiti artist. It's good if you go during the week. If you go on weekends all the little kids run around the park with there footy boots on leaving mud everywere.
This is an awesome park. Next time I come up to Gosford I wanna go here.
A fun little park, the rail is awesome and it will keep you busy for a couple of hours.

does any1 no if there is a skatepark at avoca? the layout of this park looks pretty sweet, i like the idea of that mini-ramp on the side.

yeh hahah, i was on holidays at avoca, we drove past and it looked like a metal peice of shit, its accually made by ARD (monster). pity there is chunks out of it and the wood is coming loose in places :-(
oh yeh and the mini-ramp section has big chunks missing at the foot of the ramps.

skatanic: the sections at the bottom of the mini ramp are still in fairly good conditon at kincumber. but because they are steel, dew & moisture can be an issue. umina is in heaps worse condition... especially the bowl, which is nearly unrideable... it's a great fun ramp. and it's good anytime. it's a friendly vibe & you only share the ramp with a few scooters & bikes. not many skaters ride the ramp - just the street section.
that looks heaps fun but heaps packed
