Was once just a small fun steel street course but now has two open bowls and some really fun looking bank sections, also has some ledges and rails.

I live here and its an ok-ish skate, but the fun box is very abrupt, which is ok if you are a young kid who is as light as a feather, but can jar the hell out of you if you are in your 20's or so. Great transition on the three level quarter pipe, but you need to push like crazy to get anywhere near the coping because there is no other spots to gain speed.

I went here a while back when i was on holidays, it was ok, the rail was alright but the 2 mini quater things were fun as, moveable to make a spine and put other places, was fun to sesh, and must the locals were pretty good to

Was at Moama park on weekend, they have updated to box thanks to local pro skater Trevor Ward who built a better box. 10 times better than the previous, locals will be stoked! Good work Trev, Great to see someone steppin up the skate scene there!! Maybe a local could send a pic in of the new set up.

im a local, and now that Trev has put the new fun box in, it is better, but the new box is pretty much the only good thing.. Alex broke his wrist trying to fs feeble on the box on the weekend.. haha it was funny... And Trev is opening up his own shop in the next few months, so it will be good to finally have an actual skate shop, not just a fashion store that sells skateboards on the side..

FUCKIN SHIT PARK! the design might have been good if they build the hunk of junk properly. you pretty much stop at the bottom of every box and ramp. its pathetic. not even worth 1 star let alone 3

Isn't the new funbox green? Back in '04, a facelift for the Moama park was announced; they were going to replace the metal for concrete but guess what, it never happened! Even with the new funbox, this park would still suck! This place is ghetto!
Mooroopna snd Shepparton have skateparks and they're right next to each other. Why doesn't Echuca have a skatepark when Echuca is next to and bigger than Moama?
Moama has been upgraded with a better funbox. MUCH BETTER! It helps when you have one of Australias best halfpipe riders living less than two blocks away. He has a skateshop and full sized vert ramp out back accross from the BP service station.

I met Trev yesterday, nice man. As if this Skatey should have the same rating as Rochesters, it's way better.
The new funbox and the remains of the old box have been removed. They have been replaced by those big blocks without coping that were already there.

When is something going to be done about this park!!!! A place like Echuca/Moama should have a pimpin park!!! Is there any skate shops, they should be getting in sweet with council and getting it up to scratch.
No pyramid now! kinda gay.. went there not long ago, 3 rails 2 concrete blocks and a roll in and that big ass half pipe.

Hey everyone, since last time i commented, we added a spine and ledge to the existing skatepark which has kept the park more usable. we now have a brand new design for the skate park from convic skatepark designs and is starting to build that park in 2 weeks (April 2011) which is being built by precision skateparks. It took a lot of time and fundraising but we finally got there. Big ups to the committee and all the government grants we received. Check the new convic design on www.mecskatepark.com there is a pdf. file which you can download
It is a sick park now due to the upgrade, but is not open yet due to landscaping
