yes first coment looks ok that 1/4 in the last pic looks too steep
2nd comment woo. James, I reckon I've skated steeper than that 1/4. Bit hard to tell, the pictures are sometimes deceiving. Looks like a cool park
ya! 3rd comment! looks pretty wierd but it should be more than 2 stars
Man this park is a small gold mine! I think it needs to bumped to a 3 or even 4 star. That quarter is steep but its perfect transition if ya get me. Only annoying thing about the park is that the transition at the bottom of the banks is pretty steep. When you roll up any of the banks its liking hitting vert. Oh and the 2 ways hubba in the middle picture to the right of it is kinda too close to the nature strip and has a wall almost in the way.
shit assssssssssss hit it up stations rat fagget wiht no lifes
fuck tassie
they need some real skate park builders in tassie. too many fuck heads making parks around the place
another piece of shit park in a shit place, the locals dont like anyone else going there. the banks are so hard to hit because they have nothing before the start of them, so it feels like your hitting a wall. fucking park builders here suck!
the park rocks u dont know anythin
Steeze Cat, Dixie, Bellows and SminglASS, stop bitching like little school girls. The park is fine, its obviously just a little too hard for you pussy's. Oh and "the locals dont like us"......HARDEN THE FUCK UP. The locals just want to skate.
HHey Steeze Cat ya fuck, you ever actually been to the fucker? yeah the transitions a bit dodgy, but if you just
shift you weight back only slightly and lift your front wheels up you'll be just fuckin peachy. harden up all u cunts and fuckin come out and test it instead of lookin at 3 pictures on the internet in ur mums basement pretending to be mad skaters, im local, and i dont give a flying fuck who comes to the park just as long as they dont snake me, mouth me or do anything to piss me or the other locals off, your all just to fuckin weak to get ur pathetic asses up and check it out personaly, if u think u know so fuckin much about skate parks, then come here and build one ur fuckin self and if its better than ours ill fuckin rip the crutch out of a dead ferret and fuckin well eat it. we have been waiting 10 fucking years for this park, so we are gunna take what we get, love it, and fucken rep it loud. so fuck all of you low life cunts. come and stand on the park and mouth it and see what the response is!
the gap from quater to quater looks awsome
Im gonna go with pepper on this one, this park looks fuckin hammers
By lookin at the pics, this park looks awesome! Def needs a 4 star rating. Also mad props to DADDA_DD for that comment, thats awesome and hell respect for locals. Getchya hammers on ya maggots haha :)
hopefully goin there soon aye
going there later this year i hope
worth way more than 2 stars 3 or 4 easy
15/2/2010 I'm a new skater, and my abilities are not great. Guess what, Dadda? That's OK! I visited this park yesterday. It's fantastic that this area finally has a park. As a beginner, I found it difficult to get any decent runs. I'm not saying that this is a bad park, - just not great for beginners like me. I'm not good with the sharp ramps described by others here. I need smooth ramps, like the main ramp, the bowl and the 1/4 pipes here have, until I've improved a bit. The ramps onto the funbox are very sharp, there's no curved ramp onto them. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but at this park, because the angle is so sharp, it is. If you've got any pace up at all, it's just to sudden a transition for a beginner to navigate. One second you're going horizontal at speed, the next you've hit the grade, and you're on your face. I'm in the process of hardening up, Dadda. Lost a nice bit of skin on this park. One day, I'll be as hard as you, I hope. But I also hope that my views will be broader, and my mouth smaller. This space is for comments from individuals, and if some people don't like this park, that's OK. They're allowed to say that without personally offending you. I met some locals while I was there, too, and they were friendly and encouraging. The surface is new, and very nice. some problems with sand in the bowl, making it a bit slippery. Some cracks appearing in the concrete already, whish is a shame. It's a bad sign when there are cracks before any artwork has been sprayed. But they're nothing of consequence at this early stage in the park's life. Good park, friendly locals, great surface, plenty of toys, but limited runs for beginners, especially if you can't drop in and aren't good with sharp ramps.
just from lookin at this i think it deserves over 2 stars.
