Wavell Bowl
NEAR ME SHARE
Another new design small bowl of approximately 2ft ranging up to almost 3ft around the top end. This one nicely smooth with good coping and workable lines.

otherwise known as redmans bowl
u call it a bowl, it's a knee dep hole in the ground with concrete and graffiti hahaha shit
this skatepark is great for biginners and advanced skaters.weather your startin or pulling of knarly lip tick combos. you can stick some amazing tricks here
its a non finished pond with no water
This bowl isnt as bad as some people say, it is smooth, has a smooth lip and is good for rookies and experienced pros alike. You will occaisionly local pros there and is a great place to learn the basics. All in all, this park deserves more credit for what it is and is one to visit!
There is a petition that Will be lodged to the brisbane city council about expanding this park with snakerun into the bowl, a grind rail and a halfpipe that will be found in the chermside library soon. There is an aim to get 500 signitures so sign it 30 times under different names ;)
Might not happen chittychittybangbang because there are more old people that hang out at the bowls club and i hear there going to try to make the petition not go on.
who cares theres so much free space it needs and extensioin and besides north brisbanes best park is like stafford and we need more then one good park and even stafford could be better with its load of free space...(which i have never seen anyone use...hey chittychittybangbang can u start up a peitition for a whole new in brisbane which is like inner city and all and its like way better then sydney and melbournes parks so we get a better skating rep and more demos and tours etc...
i ment whole new skatepark i type to fast somtimes so i dont no wat i type my bad...
its a sick park! haha nawww its pretty hesh. Me and my friends go there after school sometimes seeming its right across the road. We stay there for hours...geez the time flies by when you are redmans
yea this joint is fukin sick but one of u were right it needs more stuff or they should just knock that one down and put in a 6ft bowl so i can get sum sick lines going on my carve board ....peace wavell *rep*
your right it is an alright park. i visit this park a fair bit on my almost deck and theres always got to be some little punk there who big notes him self and then fucks up
sorrry mr almost deck
hope they included a drink fountain in the petition cause the dog parks got two and i dont like dog slobber
love this park good times, good peeps
Ideal for begginers but crap if u plan do anything serious. It's smooth n all but there's not enough vert n the space in between each side is atleast a mile apart. Waste of money n time!
its not eny different than the banyo bowl just smoother
radd radd radd little horse shoe, fast wen you push in a circle around it, good for learning, and having a silly seshion with a good crew... BELONGS TO REDMAN... BETTER RED THAN DEAD
this park is super sick!
I skated it today (well tried to) and couldn't get enough speed up. Basically it's a 2ft high fish pond with an extremely large flat. Wing it and go to Stafford
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv5xb-wRFfE watch that video hahah anyway it's not too bad its just like a miniramp and the transition is perfect it is really good to learn on for beginers and if you wanna learn new tricks its perfect cuase I learnt kickflip rock to fakies there and feeble reverts but the bad thing is that the coping is quit small but still ridable you just cant rock that well and also its extremely smooth and quiet there but if you dont live near it your best go to a better park like paddo or coops
good for learning if you're new to bowls etc like me - best thing is its lit at night. Big thanks to whoever climbed up that lightpole & turned the light around from the dogpark
