This place is awesome to skate at night. Nice even lighting, virtually no shadows. it's hard to skate the big ramp mid morning as one side is in a bad shadow & the sun is in your eyes. but early morning & middle of the day onwards is fine. After its rained, which is a fair bit, the ramps dry within 2 hours. The pool, however, takes a lot longer to dry after a rain. The small ramp must have cracked just after they built it, cos there's a massive patch running right across it, about one third of the way up. when you skate it, you hit the patch, it goes steep very quickly & feels weird. the big ramp is smooth as & and absolute pleasure to skate. in the pool, if you get enough speed, you can skate right around the top of it, just under the tiles, 270 degrees & screaming with speed, before transitioning into the middle section. there's even a rock climbing wall!
