Small Skatepark renovation located in the existing park of Parc de la Pau in the calm small town of El Pont de Vilomara. The project follows the main guidelines of the Park project, using the same materials, respecting the existing trees and blending in with the topography of the site. After very few meetings with the local skaters, it is clearly decided a very simple scheme of ramps and banks at the extremes of the skateable area and the main obstacles in the middle, mixing street obstacles with skateplaza elements, with all the curbs and banks built in ganit. - Skate Architects
