It is located next to a bunch of baseball fields and there are a bunch of crappy prefab metal ramps and some prefab cement pieces with real rough ground. If you're looking for a rough spot to street skate then this it it so don't expect anything except some young kids on scooters. No pads needed here and free.
Just about 25 minutes south from Newark International airport in New Jersey sits the Cartaret Skatepark. To get there head on the interstate 95 south from Newark and exit Roosevelt Avenue going east. Take that a couple miles into Cartaret and make a right on Pershing Ave. Look for the metal ramps painted black and then jump back on the turnpike.
