New Chris Russel part coming
Yesterday during bowl-a-lama Chris crushed the qualifying heats. Placing third above a bunch of energy splattered helmets.
Come the finals I know a bunch of us were hoping that he'd be the one to finally take out a padless spot on the podium.
Then out of no where he hit his head pretty badly in the bowl (followed by some less worrying head knocks from about 3 others, definitely out of the ordinary for bondi). I'll find out today how he's doing but the medics seemed pretty confident that he was going to be ok, despite checking him into hospital just to be safe.
Regardless, his thrasher trailer dropped recently so watch that, get psyched & send your well wishes to @chrisrussel_mbk
