Hervey Bay City Skatepark

This park is amazing and flows with endless lines. It start with a small section for beginners at the top (all obstacles below 1' tall) then drops down into the bowled section. The bowls are 5' deep and every transition is perfect and smooth. There are loads of rails and blocks scattered around, and the recent landscaping means that the park is dust clean and dust free. Overall, the park is fast, flowing and most of all loads of fun with something for everyone. Thanks to Ben V for pics n info

this park is heaps rad , definatly better then maryborough . the small ramps at the top are fun to muck around on and there are larger ramps down the bottom . quite a few roller bladers and young kids on skateboards but still great
kfc is right next door too , always good to have the smell of kfc while skating , if ur not down for chickin you can go to woolies shopping centre right next to the park too ! oh yes and u can see little 6 year olds fighting every now and again .
Another one of my fav parks. Goods: Plenty of obstacles, park is like its spilt in two, one side of beginners and the other for the experience. Smooth and clean. Heaps of lines. KFC and supermarket is right nect door. Locals are pretty cool and ripper! Bads: Usually has a crowd of lil kids. Worth a mission to skate this park!

Not a bad park, considering I'm used to Prahran and Phoenix in VIC. As said by others, it has some nice lines and flows pretty well. Will be going there a fair bit more often now. Can get fairly chockers when all the kids rock up.

one time when me n quinny were there these 6 year old were rippin eachothers hair out n shit and kickin over some tadpols in the drain next to it, WTF hahahah

wikd park got nice flowing smaller stuff to larger stuff nice stairs n flat bars n yer the lil mini ramp is wikd the grind box down the large area is wikd good to do wll grinds on ay quinny;)
yeah this park is great does get crowed but its always lovely to smell KFC when skateing haha its has a rad school up the road to i have also herd the bears are attracted girls periods

im a chick n i get bagged out wen i sk8 in parks so i sk8 in streets n stuff wit ma bros. but i have been 2 dis park a few times wen it hasnt been dat packed n its pretty mad. i dont live in da bay nemore so i dont go down
when its not packed its really sick, go when all the kiddies are at school and you'll have a rad sesh

this park is fuckin insane. if u were lucky enoug to witness the demo (the photo on this site is from demo) with darren n dennis durrant, john lorcan and ben ventress. oit was fuckin amaazing! rail got killed!!!!!!!! pity ben hurt his ankle early in the day on those f*&%ed up stairs! darren can kickflip noseslide n front board like theres no tomrrow. dens switch crooks n nollie nose il never forget! fuckin legends
Great layout, well thought out for beginners with tranny graduating in size but let down by the shallow deepest section. Council have installed a rubberised safe finish to the perimeter which breaks up and spreads roll-stopping granules all over the park. If the whole thing was scaled up, it'd be something special. Four stars for me.

fucken shitest park ever, dont go there. not even worth 1* in the rating system, it is small as shit and is packed with bikers, and everything is like 5cm off the ground. I'd rather die than go back there.

best dayum skatepark ever.
I live 5 minutes from this park and I skate it everyday. Contrary to popular belief, this park is actually really good. It has something for everyone , yeah there is heaps of bikes but hey , gotta share. I have learned heaps from riding here and I will keep doing so . 5/5 stars for me.
