> LEWIS MARNELL RIP
Dont even know what to say. One of the nicest and most tallented skateboarders ever. Fuck this is so sad.
Met him maybe a couple of times and seemed like the nicest guy. Killed it on board. Such a loss. RIP
Really sad news, always looked up to his skating. i remember coming into the city as a grom and seeing him nollie bigspin the hip probably over my head height and just being amazing someone could get that high. RIP to one of the greats.
this is crazy, hardly knew the guy yet he would always stop and talk, genuinely seeming interested in what i had to say.. inspiration! RIP
Genuinely nice guy. Condolences to his friends and family. I'm definitely going skating today.
So fucked up... Thoughts are with all the fam and close friends. Thrashed that digital part daily growing up! One of a kind. RIP Brother.
I know it's early days and everyone needs time to take this in.
But any plans for a skate day to pay our respects to this amazing dude. Pahran was his local wasn't it?
From the Hardflipping little 13 yr old I met all those years ago, to the quality human you turned out to be, thank you Lewis for everything you have ever done both on and off the board....
So much love going out to Nami and his family and friends.
Had the pleasure to hang with Marnell a handful of times, whether it was those (now cherished) city park and pran sessions or the one time he took me up to his CBD apartment to buy a pair of kicks off him.. i was a nobody and he was someone, always being so genuine with every encounter.
R.I.P Lewis..
I can't fucken believe this happened. Absolutely devastating news. RIP Lewis. We love you
