CALLAN PARK (ROZELLE) UPDATE: Please see below for some preliminary designs. Please note THESE ARE NOT FINAL ! Any form of feedback (positive/negative) is welcomed. There is another council meeting/design consultation next Tuesday the 16th of December. If you would like to have your say regarding the design we suggest you attend. More details regarding the meeting will be provided tomorrow. (
This is not a design meeting, but it's the council meeting to get approval for the skatepark.
It will not be held at Callan Park like the past meetings, but in Leichthardt.
Meeting:
The Leichhardt Council Ordinary Council meeting.
Address:
Council Chambers Leichhardt Town Hall, Norton Street, Leichhardt
Date/Time:
Tuesday 16th December at 6:30pm.
Details:
"One of the items being considered is the exhibition of draft conceptual plans for the Regional Skate Park at Callan Park."
The Regional Skate Park is Item 3.5 on the agenda below:

It's probably worth noting that this meeting will likely determine a budget for the park, and how much money (if any) we get to play with on perfecting a design.
I'm hoping there will be a generous turnout from Sydney skaters to get the voices heard, and considering some of the online input on the new Hobart park I'd like to see the same heads add their 2 cents to find anything that can be improved before shovels hit the dirt.
