Not a bad park,but not the best one.Only skated it once,and from what i remember,it was good
I haven't been to forestville park very much, but I'll try to give you a good idea. The park is located next to some organised sporting fields and conveniently it is right near a car park AND toilet facility. It is no where near a train line but I think you can catch a "Davidson" bus from Chatswood or North Sydney to Forestville. For me the park seemed like a bit of a let down the first time I went. The "nipple" in the middle of the park is awesome, it gives you alot of height and it is suprisingly easy to clear and roll away from. Unfortunately the half-square-pyramid on the side of the park isn't very good at all, you can ollie the hips on it but otherwise you have to be pretty gnar to do anything else with it. The park has alot of lines, but alot of pushing and pumping is involved. It's especially good for those who prefer banks to quarters because this park only has one piece of coping. There is pretty much no skate scene here though, and there are heaps of pussy 12 year old BMXers who you can push over if they get in your way. It does deserve 3 stars, and it'd be even better if there were only skaters. I'll give someone a dollar if they fs grind from one bank over the quarter to the bank on the otherside.
HAHAHAHA tough stuff im going to own you AGAIN!!!! Forestville park is right near my old house, and i used to skate there a fair bit. Its pretty fun, but nothin overly special. The flatbank with incorprated quarter is pretty cool, and fun to skate. The pimple in the middle of the park is ridiculously hard to skate, but if you can master it, flying ollies over it can become a fair bit of fun, although its not easy at all. The fun box on the side of the park is terrible, and i think some mad homie bombers melted a rubbish bin onto it, so it was unskateable for a while, but i think this has since been fixed. The flat rail is probably my favourite part of the park. Its mad fun too skate, and so long that even 50-50ing the whole thing is a farken HAMMERTIME. the hips that are created by the two sets of larger quarters/banks are, once again, hard to skate, but very rewarding if mastered. If you want to get there, catch a train to chatswood, and get the frenchs forest or forestville bus to jamieson square, then head straigh up the hill past the shopping centre, and go into the entry of the sports ground, and straight through the carpark, and youll find it. Sometimes there are bikers and rollerfags there, but just psyche them out and they will leave. I go back every now and again, coz i enjoy skating the park, and youll probably have fun too. how tough sutff can say there is no skate scene there is beyond me. Just down the road, there is forest highschool, which used to be the sikkest skate spot ever, and bred alot of good and recognised skateboarders. Actually, you might want to head down there if your in the area, coz its fucken rad fun. Its just a little further up warringah road, near the forestway shopping centre. its good fun, but the park is too, so make a day of it and do both. that was a long one. sorry drew.
this park is good. the ramps are steep, watch out you dont accidentaly go down them on your skate board
I've been there a few times and it was pretty fun. Good -banks,copped ledge & pimple. Not very good- rail (it has multiple dents all in it) Definitly deserves 3
Fun little park. Gets some good avro evening sessions on weekday afternoons over summer with the lads. It's pretty much only local crew now days which is cool. Most obsticals are quite small so it's good for an arvo hack...some times a few bikers though.
as you said i go to forest high and it USED to b the sikest skte spot, ive seen skaters like jake duncomb and jamie goodwin hittin up the masive double set by the canteen, it wasbest known 4 the 'rock drop' RIP new principal basically skater proofed the skool but i head up there bout twice a week cause its still fun to skate. as for the bowl, its changed round a bit that reddish path going round the side has been re done with cement, its a good fun bowl, bit dodgy most coping has massive dents from lame bmx's and just last weekend i dropped by the bowl and the rail was lifted up so it needs to b seriously re done but doesnt mean u cant skate it, chek it out if ur near by
My local, and also quite an underated park. The concretes kinda rough but i presonally prefer that, and once in a while its has a few good sessions. Usually later during the week days a couple good bmxers and skaters may session it. The people here are pretty nice, and there are some spots around. Forestville primary just pass the rsl has some really mad metal plated ledges which will send you flying. All in all this is a great park, happy to have it as my local, but its probably not a must visit if your a bowl rat, but considering its a tiny park they did considerably well too include a sub box, box, rail(damged now), quarter, etc, and a wallride(cricket nets, few people have tried to).

this park rocks, it is nice and easy and has a simple 'flow' unlike some parks that have banks, rails and nipples all over the place. it is super for starters. it does need some goddamn shade though!!!! (mad for a party) (Sunshine Beach Park is better!!!!!!!!!!)
this is my local park and its pretty good for sk8ers that like alot of speed. there is also a 3 and 4 stair up at the clubhouse and a netball courts perfect for a flatland game of skate it definetley deserves 3 stars

this place is good to have some fun but nothin serious really gos down here haha. its kinda only gud if ur a local or u go there with a group of people also the bonfires we hav there on cold nights are so fun haha

if ur ever around go in this place is pretty much as cool as the locals (like myself and Jam.) just watch out for pot holes and ramp tramps (random chicks who hang out at a skate park that dont skate they just sit there and be stupid skanks) but most of them are pretty nice.......c ya down there jerkwads!!! peace.......

its a pretty sweet park the ramps r a bit steep and no theres no lights except for at the clubhouse but theres like taps and toilets and ovals and S#@!T its realy awesome my fave park is either monster or waterloo and im local but if u live in bondi y not go to bondi sk8park??
Lol, Well Put it this Way... Me and my friend have been like RipStiking for a while and can Drop in n shit. and Bondi, i don't no why but We just don't feel at home their. We sk8 at night their Sometimes but Seriously It's packed at 2:00am in the Morning, And i don't no why but we Feel home in the Blue mountains even though we have to Travgel 2 hours... But we're trying to find new Sk8 parks that Have lights and that we like... And Yeah, We're like Learning how to Sk8 but it's soo Damb Hard!!!!! Lol, do u have Bebo??? msn???
yea i just started skatin aswell and i can ollie over a friends board.and some advice 4 skatin u first need to learn about ur ballance and stuff and pushing all of dat and then try ollie and keep on practising and learn from ur mistakes if u just started skating ur better of going to a skatepark like manly or sometin were its less steep i cant drop in to it yet but u just keep persisitent ness or wat ever the local are nice (especially me) and robbie slater lives around the corner and theres heaps of really good sk8ers. its my park and i feel at home in it its awesome!!! yea i got Msn Wetham_11@hotmail.com ........ awesome
