I got just got back from that chat bike session.
It was amazing, except for the terrible kiddies launch box (made so skateboarders can clear it)

I actually had to wax due to last nights skirt wearing adventure.
If I catch anyone waxing the park, I'll kill you and your family. And your pets. And maybe the neighbours too. And their families. And their pets.
My dog is a killer. You have no chance.
I'll make sure I put an extra coat on the vert coping today just for you mick.
Why would you need to wax anyway? Waxing something takes away the skillset required to actually grind something (unless it's a concrete gutter, of course).
Waxing coping makes people hurt themselves. I've seen it time and time again. If you are un-aware that something is waxed and you go to grind it, you go faster than you anticipate and go splat.
And seeings as Homebush is a brand new skatepark with brand new coping etc, why the hell would you need to wax it?
That just vexes me immensely.
