The big tins 'o' beer were a fave for us last year. Like a largie but in a can !! The mind boggles. SoCal locals were big into Tecate as well. Had to pass on that one. Seemed to be the Mexican Fosters as far as I was concerned.
Nikeeem bought a sixer of fosters 2 weekends ago. I quizzed him on this and he claims its a different brew than the dogs urine fosters we are used to.
Why's Fosters so fucking bad here? why can't they just make it half decent. I don't understand.
Dunno but I think the Geebz and Jughead are arguing that one over in the Other forum right now.
Although shit it does have its market of elderly alco's. If they changed it they would lose this market and only bite in to other markets already monopolised by the parent companies brands anyway.
Do you know that VB made in Victoria is actually different to VB made in Qld?
Its all about market tastes.
In Qld they have XXXX which is as bitter as someone with half a winning lotto ticket....so they amended VB to be a little milder to appeal to that market.
I seriously can't drink VB in Vic (Carlton Draught or MB) but can drink it up here.
Same with Fosters. I did a bit of work for CUB while I was studying and was told this.
XXXX is actually drinkable over in the UK apparently.
