broke my wrist after getting chalked

I chalked at Prahran and broke my elbow. Had to have surgery on it and shit.
got one at adelaide city park and went straight into the bank before the nine. got scars from it
riding up to a pretty high ledge switch, hit a rock about two meters before and still manaaged to slide off the end it it onto my shoulder/head.
in west oz... a chalky is called an "ernt", a "brnt" or even sometimes a "frnnnt". the name depends on the species of rock/nut etc. once you know these names you will have a lot more fun falling over.
Not quite a chalk...but similar.
I was skating the old Coorparoo Park. It hard this fun box (pic in my profile) that you could launch some serious air off...and some serious slams. I was mucking around with some dudes ollieing the funbox to flat...so like 6-7ft in the air etc. I'd done a couple of big ollies and landed pretty heavily but thought nothing of it.
So I drop in...take 2 big pushes...and crack an ollie. I did a japan and tweaked it pretty hard. As I am getting the board back under me I see something out of the corner of my eye flying through the air.
Its my front truck. I had snapped a kingpin and when I ollied the truck had come off. Needless to say I landed it but with no front truck...well....broken board and a lot of skin off was the end result.
Then there's the story about me getting a chalkie just before going off a jump ramp and over a shopping trolley. I ended up in the trolley and then on my face. Awesome. Worst slam I ever had. They almost had to cut me loose with the jaws of life...
was just about to post that exact same distinction morgs.
eernt, feernt and beernt sound so much better than chalkie. to me, 'chalkie' sounds like a cross between a wedgie and school disciplinary actions.
i once actually had a screernt. doin a 50/50 at montreal st in freo and while i was grinding the coping i hit a chunk of (bmx'd) lose crete. the crete wedged between my truck and the coping so it was a screernt.
i made it as well!
Took a running start across the top of the banks for a speed lap around the park and hit something at the top of the bank just as I went to turn in. WWF style flying elbow drop to the flat.
But I'm tuff so I just dusted meself orf and went again WOOOOO!!!
