Dear Steven
Work on the skate park at San Remo has just commenced. It is expected to be completed around Christmas.

That has potential, but could have done with a bit more thinking out...a lot of wasted space, and only half a bowl! There are lines, but the flow aint so good - Too much uphill in one direction... lots of walking.
still, better than a lot of parks.
Good to see they are finally upgrading the slab at the end of my street!
Needs a half pipe though - even a mini ramp would be welcome. Hopefully that's part of stage 2,3 or 4 or whatever...
There's a six foot halfpipe stairing you in the face.
Its just got an extra side attached to it.
Hmmmmm....A six foot bowl-half-pipe crammed with bmxers, booters & scooters. Sounds like Chatswood.
To clarify my comment: I'd like to see a separate half-pipe like the setup at Mona Vale (where I skated this morning <sigh>) - with a bowl for the groms and a separate half-pipe for the oldies. Same thing as what's going up at Homebush but a smaller ramp - like Newcastle: 9 foot with a 9 foot transition? Nice.
