clifton hill is between brunswick northcote and fitzroy, 10 minute drive form my house so im pumped
What the deal with skating it week days?? would it be a waste of my time going there after work this afternoon if the workers are gunna be there??
yay, 5 min drive from home, STOKED! (i wish there was some tranny though, but hey, you NEVER get everything)
went there today..... there were a few skaters, i went to jump over the fence and the worker guy was like no skating evertybody out, thats bullshit.. lucky tthere was something else to skate there.
was there yesterday as well. had a bit of a roll but my 2 mates have not much confidence and wanted to bail and go drink. it's super fun and the 2 contsruction guys were cool to let some older heads session a bit and keep outa there way.
i wasnt such a fan of it, for a 'street' styled park there were a few very easy, inexpensive and standard issue things missing, eg. a freakin flatbar, a small hubba & or rail down the stairs. also the gap with ledge going across it between the two pads sucks, the gap dosnt have adequet runup to have fun on and the ledge is wayyy too small on one side.
not the worst park built, but it could have been a lot better, nothing a portable flatbar can't help mend:) . im not complaining with a park so close to home
no rail down stairs what is justin skating in that photo what were 10mo skateing when they went there
"...small hubba or rail"
i never said there wasnt a rail there, i said they could have at least put another smaller one in there
