I'd say let the Maroubra Council fix it up as they are concrete experts. If they get there and it takes alot of work to remove the patching, I doubt that they would do it? Just my thought.
The bottom of the cradle at Inala was slippery as death for a long tim. Then Spring did us a favour while he was up in Brisso and hit the bottom of it with a 10% hydrochloric acid solution. Problem solved.
Could be worth considering.
short term solution for slipperyness is just pour coke on it, but it will only work for a little while
went down this morning to clean up and test sand v's acid theory.

lovely finish - bleeding bondcrete like glue - lovely.
it was still a bit wet, so after cleaning it up a bit i put a bin in to discourage the bike riders hanging around from going in.
used some sand to write a little note, took a pic, and here it is.
ready for riding some time this evening....

Hahahaha how funny would that be! Go there tomorrow and that bin is burnt and melted in the bowl. Damn local kids.
