Joel, do you have a new skateopia built yet?
I wish I could Drew but I was only about 12 when I used to skate it so I was more concerned with avoiding the gnarly gang of BMX's who used to terrorise the place- ask any of the old locals (Barnaby, Shauny, Joel) they'll tell you about them.....and maybe the sluts too.
The bowl was down the hill from ringwood high an in the late 80's early 90's the chicks were real bogan an slutty, ringwood also had nasty local skaters...I remember two blokes talking 2 each other,in front of me about rolling me for my new pads, so I ran when they were looking the other way, turns out they were members of Vic,s best punk band S.I.C. I later befriended them when knox was built and theyed come skate there. oh an borgy coper's were the shit back then, all the edges of the bowl were a mixture of flouro plastic shavings
As for the ringwood look alike we had 2 make it smaller due 2 costs, the closed bit on the end of the shallow end was convics idea, I didn,t even think about it but it makes sense .
and drew, skateopia hasn't started yet, im busy building a chook shed and soon a little lake an then i'll think about it, theres fuck all backyardy's round here....
i reckon that dog bone bowl with the shoot looks fun as. Anymore news, I have a beach house in O.G
how rad is some of that graf! eg: Peter Garrett, Fords Rules, Dire Straight
Any news, If it has been started on then can someone tell me where it is
jack told me about 3 weeks ago that local people have complained and they have stoped building it.
i havnt asked him recently about it. but he said a while ago that him and the people building it have to have a meeting with the people that complained and with the councel to see if it will still go ahead.
but thay have complained like...all skateparks have drugs and it will promote violence or something. but jack thinks that they wont win so it will still be getting built..
them smelly old droolers better not get there way or i'll put bad food into there nursing homes. and fuck off everything about drugs and shit where ever young people r drugs are get over it.
