GC crew look at for a big spine ramp at Pimpama in the next few weeks.

Hey Jim, good job with Arundel and Cooly. Its a common misconception in the public eye that the skaters have something to do with graffiti. This is not the case as most skaters know how graffiti removal can damage the surface. People who tag up a park generally do it at night when its empty and unskateable. Nerang is the only Gold coast park with lights and this probably deters taggers.
Pizzey has decent lights that the council chooses not to turn on as well.

Thanks for the info.
Re lights, too much trouble at Pizzey to have the lights on so I had to turn them off. Basically guys werent getting out of the park when the security guard shut the gate and then vandalised the gate causing lots of damage on multiple occasions. Also the lights are just safety lights rather than for skating. Will look to put lights in the future that are for skating.
