> GOOFY V NATURAL CRICKET MATCH
Just for you Monkz...
Mavie bowled Jnr possibly the slowest ball of the entire match and he was so nervous about not making another Duck that he was in two minds as to block it or smash it.
You could see him setting up to smash it, then he hesitated and then popped up the softest, easiest catch to the fielder about 15 feet in front of him...it was hilarious. He got swamped by the natural team and picked up and carried off.
Sidenote: He did take a nice out filed catch later on to redeem himself which was nice
yes when i hit the ball and it went up i thought shit, then i saw that it was going straight to Jr and i thought it will be ok but he held on
Look how far behind the stumps Gourlay is wicket keeping.
That shows the sheer pace that Flaz bowls with....
yeah you can usually catch young marty on the corner of barkly n geelong rd givin out 5 dolla wristy's n 10 dollar suk jobs...
Sorry monks I didn't wanna be too harsh, to your credit dude you'd hardly drop a catch in the game though, so wen are you carnts ready for a match? I reckon aubury showdown!!
I'm keen for the Albury roadtrip again. I'm fresh off a win and overflowing with confidence. Do you think that hotel will let us stay again though? Ha ha
maybe dude not sure, steelo n i should keep the street fights to a minimum this time. hopefully they dont remember the extreme bed diving shit either,
its a rad place to stay though.. we'll be right.
so jing jang, monkz n brow are you kunz up to a battle?
What a nightmare. Could we please stop talking about my pathetic batting average and equally horrible dismissal? Thanks.
On a positive note the other parts of the day were fantastic! Will Stoyles steadied our shitty batting order despite a brutal barrage of heckling from Gourlay, Reesy, Shooter and Shauny! Nick starred with the ball and in the field and Niddy lay on the pathway and got jumped over by two wobbly rollerbladers! Good times!
Oh yeah. After last years match in CBR there was talk of them travelling to Melbs. Home ground advantage would be good seeing they've smashed us to pieces in the last two games!
yeah homeground would be ace, i dont care where we play i'm just keen on cricket, it is pretty fun meeting up halfway though, well its now up to the berrians to accept our challenge or maybe they bit scared.
